The Measurements4Management (M4M) project researches and develops chemical process management approaches and techniques to improve e.g. water cleaning in terms of safety, quality, and financial and environment costs.
The goal of follow-up meeting was to find and discuss potential synergies between the projects.
In the discussion it became clear that both projects are quite complementary in their approach, objectives and use cases. M4M addresses chemical process control support for the water, food and petrochemical industries and combines PLSP, data analytics and gamification for optimization of process control. There was expressed common interest to share future outcomes of the projects with each other in particular on the successfulness of the PLSP and machine learning approaches for optimization of industrial processes.
