IDEKO is a research centre focused on generation, engagement and development of new technologies able to tackle current and future challenges of industry. In this regard, IDEKO participates on COGNIPLANT project for the advanced digitization of European process industry. IDEKO leads Co-Digitise layer, where plants of different industries are digitized. For that purpose, IDEKO is using its contrasted expertise on measurement and actuation onto manufacturing machine’s dynamics to enhance and optimize the monitoring system of each studied plant. IDEKO do not only opens the possibility to employ many different commercial sensors for different applications, but virtual sensors also can be developed, adapted to the needs and conditions of the plants. Furthermore, based on its extensive research in the last years, IDEKO will contribute in the development of different edge algorithms for solving problems on real-time, with the objective of improving the performance and the flexibility of process industry plants.
